Sometimes I think if I could have a job listening to music and deciding which artists I think are good and what their top-hits should be.. I would finally be content with going to a normal day-to-day job.
So back to female artists, and my lack of finding good ones these days (male musicians far outweigh females in my extensive music collection).. here are some random songs from my playlist, who happen to be fairly-recently-discovered-famale-artists' music I'm enjoying...

Saint Etienne - Side Streets (another quirky one)
*Avril Lavigne - Innocence (yeah I know, teeny-bopper artist now..but I like this song.. rest of her new album is pretty bad)
*Leigh Nash - Ocean Size Love
Megan Slankard - Fly Now
* songs I think could be mainstream hits (if they’re not already?).. the others I think are just due to personal taste: good lyrics combined w/ interesting instrumental arrangements
