My mom and sister recently came out to visit me. It was so wonderful to see them, and they couldn't have come at a better time. I thought it was a spontaneous decision for them to visit as a result of amazing airfare tickets, but now I am beginning to wonder if they decided to come for the primary purpose of discussing something with me that hasn't been brought up for 17 years. I suppose I always figured if it wasn't a big deal to the people who I thought knew, then it really wasn't a big deal to me.
I honestly don't think I ever felt it was a big deal even if other other people did acknowledge it. . now I am beginning to think I have seriously been fooling myself for 17 years. Apparently my sister didn't know until recently. . God literally placed it on her heart to ask my parents (the *same day* they had, finally?, decided to discuss it privately) . . and she says a lot of things now make sense to her. She also pointed out some things I hadn't noticed, and it is very concerning.
